Asociación Latinoamericana Ímpetu

Ímpetu is a youth-led, non-profit organisation based in Ecuador, working locally, regionally, and
internationally to advance peacebuilding through education, innovation, and social justice. Their
work focuses on addressing the root causes of violence that affect young people, including
educational exclusion, inequality, forced displacement, and the lack of real opportunities in
vulnerable contexts.

Ímpetu desigs and implementa evidence-based programmes that place young people
at the centre—not only as participants, but as active leaders in their communities. Their approach
connects the Youth, Peace and Security agenda with gender equality, climate justice, and
emotional well-being, strengthening social cohesion and creating safer, more inclusive
environments.
