Tri-people Youth Collective for Peace of Mindanao Incorporated

The Tri-People Youth Collective for Peace of Mindanao Incorporated (Filipino translation: Alyansa ng Kabataang Mindanao para sa Kapayapaan (AKMK)) is a convergence of youth organisations coming from different points in Mindanao that work for the empowerment of the tri-people (Indigenous Peoples, Bangsamoro, Migrant Settlers) youth to become important actors in peacebuilding and other intersectional campaigns that are geared towards the realisation of just, peaceful and inclusive Mindanao.

AKMK’s efforts include providing important and meaningful spaces for young people through capacity development, campaign and advocacy, lobbying, and building global, regional and local networks with different stakeholders and allies. Their programs include listening and story-telling sessions, knowledge sharing, youth conferences, cross-community and sectoral immersions, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy.
