Jasmine Foundation

Jasmine Foundation is a Tunisian NGO focusing on citizen engagement and promoting accountability and good governance, particularly at the local level.

In a post-authoritarian system in Tunisia still plagued by corruption and undemocratic practices, Jasmine Foundation believes that the process of building a democratic system and culture must begin at the local level, where small and concrete wins can be achieved and built on to achieve wider systemic reform of state institutions and the promotion of accountability. Over the last 7 years, they have built a strong track record of engaging young people in the most marginalised neighbourhoods and regions of Tunisia.
