Women Volunteers for Peace

Women Volunteers for Peace is a youth-led organisation from Kenya which supports and promotes the role of young women and girls at risk in peacebuilding through advocacy, offering psychosocial support and peace education within the lake region of Western Kenya.

Women Volunteers for Peace places young women and girls at the apex of playing a critical role in identifying, mitigating and responding to conflicts in the community as well as uplifting their voices to be active participants in the prevention and peacebuilding efforts.
