Youth and Women Action for Peace

The Youth and Women Action for Peace is a youth and woman-led organisation that was
founded in 2023 to advance and promote the participation of youth and women in peace and
security as enshrined in the United Nation Frameworks UNSCR 2250 AND 1325
respectively. YWAP aims at mobilizing youth and women to be active players and
strengthening their participation in Peace and security issues.
Premised on the need to achieve an inclusive society that values the participation and
meaningful engagements of youth and women, YWAP acknowledges youth and women as
active and invaluable players that contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Peace and
security.
