digizen

Digizen is a youth-led organization based in Sri Lanka that works to advance digital citizenship, digital rights, and youth-led peacebuilding across South and Southeast Asia. They empower young people, particularly from marginalized and minority communities, with the skills to navigate digital spaces safely, critically, and responsibly. Through training, advocacy, research, and digital storytelling, digizen addresses challenges such as disinformation, online hate speech, digital security, and exclusion from digital participation. Their work strengthens youth leadership and promotes inclusive, rights-based, and peaceful digital environments both online and offline.
