Climate Sirens
The Climate Sirens represent a feminist, youth-led and decolonial movement rooted in the SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) region, amplifying indigenous perspectives and uplifting young women to lead in the face of the escalating climate crisis. Our work dismantles colonial structures, prioritises intersectionality, and centers the leadership and wisdom of women who are too often excluded from global decision-making spaces. Addressing the climate crisis requires solutions that honor traditional and Indigenous ecological knowledge and the lived experiences of those most impacted.Climate Sirens envisions a future where young women and indigenous communities are not tokenised but lead movements toward climate and social justice.
